i-Catcher Console enables you to manage many cameras at once by receiving the video feeds of a number of i-Catcher clients. These feeds are then displayed together on the console PC, ideally running two screens, such that one can be used for live feeds, and one for reviewing the recorded stills. i-Catcher Console offers increased usability through additional features such as loop playback, which will show the last recorded stills in a continuous loop, a built-in web server for accessing the feeds (both live and recorded) from anywhere on the internet with a web browser, and archiving and scheduling features to ensure the system runs smoothly even while you're not there.
i-Catcher Console accepts either locally running clients (called "nodes") or i-Catcher Sentry/Wildlife clients running on other PCs. The nodes are special versions of i-Catcher Sentry that run silently on the same PC as i-Catcher Console, feeding their data directly into i-Catcher Console. The process of setting up nodes is automated by i-Catcher Console to ensure everything works together smoothly.
Security is built into the i-Catcher family of products, using various techniques to ensure the validity and integrity of the stored image files. Still images are recorded with a signature, such that when an image is played back that is lacking this signature, i-Catcher Console will immediately bring to your attention that the image may have been tampered with.

Keeping your property protected with conventional CCTV hardware can be an expensive and difficult task. i-Catcher Sentry simplifies this process by using your existing home or office computer system as a CCTV recorder. Any camera device supported by Microsoft Windows can be used as a video source, and you can even utilise network cameras for further ease of installation.
Using advanced motion detection techniques, i-Catcher Sentry constantly compares the live images it receives from the connected camera. When motion is detected it automatically captures and saves the image to disk (such as these examples). Sensitivity controls and user-defined masks enable you to eliminate spurious motion detection and playback allows you to review activity detected on any given day in a matter of minutes.
Sophisticated alerting functions can send captured images by email, or upload them to a web site for remote viewing, and SMS message alerts can also be configured via an external application*. Automated archiving of recorded images can be scheduled, as can auto-deletion after a specified period, or when a pre-defined storage space is reached.
i-Catchers motion map feature is used to graphically display a summery of motion over time. This is finding all sorts of uses from the study of shoppers movements in retail establishments to animal behaviour. One use of this feature is to help you decide where to put your masks in "noisy" conditions.
In addition to motion detection, i-Catcher can operate in time lapse or web cam modes, and scheduled operating periods for particular times and days of the week can be defined. With its standard and user-configurable profiles, i-Catcher Sentry provides near limitless flexibility of operation making it ideally suited to protect offices, shops, warehouses or homes, whilst keeping you informed of every move.
