This marketer should know better and probably does
because he has been around for a while. He has been
sending several similar messages every week and just
about everything is promoted as "NEW". But just
about everything is actually 1-3 years old.
The fact is that this industry moves so fast and
just about anything released more than a few months
ago is already getting old. This particular product
was released in 2008 and it certainly isn't worth
the bargain price of $9.95 that was offered by this
marketer.
Tactics such as this, which obviously target the
newbie that doesn't know better, is one reason a lot
of them stop marketing before they even begin. And
this is an industry that depends on growth.
If you are using such tactics I suggest you stop.
You are not helping the newbie, the reputation of
Internet Marketing, or even yourself.
If you are a newbie think twice before you hit that
order button. If you haven't seen the product
recently offered elsewhere that is probably a good
sign that it's not new.

First...Why Should You Listen To Me?
I've been working online
for almost 14 years and have concentrated on Internet
Marketing for the past 5 years. What I have learned has not
been the result of buying and reading expensive and usually
worthless self-serving guru products but as a result of my
hard work, long hours and a lengthy trial and error period.
And for the past several years I have made a very
respectable income from Internet Marketing!
I have
participated in 400 - 500 Joint Venture Giveaways since 2006
and over the past 2 years have presented a
list of giveaways
which most consider to be the best guide when considering
whether or not they should participate in a particular
giveaway. I am the only marketer that rates the giveaways
and also offer comments which many consider to be useful. I
am impartial and have been known to assign a poor rating
even to a giveaway where I have paid for the upgrade.
My ratings and suggestions are usually pretty accurate
because I have had a great deal of experience. But, even I
make a mistake now and then. Recently, I advised against the
upgrade in The Greedy Giveaway because I believed the
upgrade was priced too high and then that giveaway did quite
well. But for the most part I am pretty accurate and if you
will follow my suggestions you will do better when
participating in Joint Venture Giveaways!
I have said it many times but it is worth repeating.
You should participate in "JV Giveaways" as a CONTRIBUTOR to
build your subscriber list.
Your list is the single most important element to
having a successful Internet Marketing business.
It's free to participate in "JV Giveaways" and the
rewards will payoff for a long time!
Choosing The Right Gift To Submit!
Don't submit any product that has been available
for more than 3+ months. Most visitors will realize
immediately that they either have the item or had no
need for the item before they even view it on the
giveaway. Visitors will not add their email address
to another list for a product that is of no use to
them. Don't underestimate the importance of choosing
the right gift. I can visit almost any giveaway at this
time and find items being offered that are 2 and 3
years old. Submit old worn-out products and you will
not receive any subscribers.
Wait until the last 1-2 days prior to the launch
of the giveaway to choose the gift you want to
offer. By waiting you will have the opportunity to
log-in and view the gifts already submitted. By
using this technique you will be able to determine
if the gift you were considering for submission is
already being offered. If it is, you are better off
looking at a quality alternative that isn't being
offered. That will make your gift much more
attractive and increase the likelihood that visitors
will subscribe to your list to obtain your gift.
Remember that the more unique the gift, the
higher the probability that more visitors will
subscribe to your list
Be sure that the gift you are submitting grants
you the right to give it away so check the license
carefully!
Should You Take Advantage Of The Opportunity To
Upgrade?
You can contribute to the giveaways for free but
if you consider an upgrade (which I usually do not
recommend) please read my comments first at

I have the "ONLY LISTINGS" that rate and supply
comments about giveaways and the feedback from my
readers has been very positive. And I can assure you
that I determine what giveaways are worth
participating in based upon impartial
considerations. I have been known to give a giveaway
a poor rating even when I have purchased the
upgrade. My first obligation is to my subscribers.
The giveaway itself is secondary to me.
Generally, I do not recommend purchasing an
upgrade if the cost is more than $27 and then I
suggest you use the following guidelines.
If it is a giveaway being run by experienced
promoters that have a good track record I would
consider upgrading.
If the upgrade includes additional incentives
such as some recently introduced products that you
don't already have that have Master Resale Rights
and/or Private Label Rights I strongly suggest
upgrading.
If the cost of the upgrade is less than $20 and
the giveaway is being promoted by an experienced
promoter I almost always recommend the purchase of
an upgrade.
The immediate advantage associated with upgrading
in most giveaways
is usually the opportunity to submit three gifts
instead of one (sometimes more), which drastically increases the
chances that at least one of the 3 gifts will appeal
to a potential subscriber. The other is that your
primary gift will receive additional exposure by
being displayed on the "Hot Downloads" page. Another
advantage is that the points you receive for
upgrading greatly improve your positioning within
the "General Downloads" pages.
Do not upgrade if the giveaway has been
open for more than 48 hours!
Most giveaways receive the majority of visitors
within the first 4-5 days so you would be investing
in an upgrade that has already lost a lot of its
potential to grow your list. I would still submit a
gift because a few new subscribers are better than none. Just don't
upgrade.
Why Signing-up As Early
As Possible Is Important!
This will give you more time to promote the
giveaway to your subscribers and the opportunity to
earn points that will improve your position within
the giveaway.
A Fact That Should Not Be Ignored!
If you join a giveaway as a contributor and
submit a decent gift you will get some new
subscribers. There is no doubt about that. And if
you contribute to most giveaways scheduled during
the
month
you will probably generate several hundred to a few
thousand new subscribers.
What does even 200 new subscribers mean to you?
Well, you have heard it a million times but "the
money is in the list" and each subscriber is usually
worth $1 per month. Doesn't seem like a lot, but 200
subscribers x $1 x 12 months = $2,400 additional
income for the year. It all adds up so get involved
now.
Things To Watch Out For!
False Statements: Claims such as "The promotion will have
over 200,000 visitors in just a few days. So the
exposure will be great". The
preceding claim borders on the ridiculous! There
were almost 200 giveaways in 2008 and the combined
total of all the visitors didn't even come close to
200,000. It's time for promoters to update their
claims to reflect the real figures of 2009!
Gift Suspension: The sad fact is that this does
happen occasionally and in some instances it is
justified if you did not follow the rules of the
giveaway. But often gifts are deleted because of
faulty scripts or poor judgment on the part of the
promoter. So it is advisable to not use the "submit
and forget system" regarding your gift submission.
Check back at least once a day to make sure your
gift is being displayed properly. If it isn't,
contact the promoter immediately and demand that the
problem be rectified quickly! I can't emphasize
enough how important it is to check your submission
often! Just recently Odinn Sorensen suspended my
gifts in "The Impact Event Giveaway" because he had
received a complaint from James Stein that I was
offering an item as a gift that was not allowed by
the license terms. Odinn Sorensen never bothered to
contact me prior to suspending the gifts (which was
unprofessional) and I could have rectified the
matter quickly by explaining to him that
James Stein
was an idiot that was confusing what he saw in the
One-Time-Offer in the gift download page as the
gift (one can only wonder how someone could confuse
a gift with a OTO). The end result was that I wrongfully accused
Scott Case of initiating the complaint and I lost
valuable exposure until Odinn Sorensen reinstated a
gift that should not have been suspended in the
first place. I am detailing this incident to make
the point to... check your gifts daily. This type of
incident occurs frequently and it can be costly!

care to not insult the intelligence of your
subscribers by trying to sell them overpriced
rehashed junk.

If you are a guru, listen up. Your
days are numbered! Marketers are becoming more savvy
to your devious ways and it's just a matter of time
before they stop buying your junk altogether.
If
you are a 6-figure a year marketer there is little
that I know that you probably don't know already.
But I do appreciate that you are on my list and
always welcome your feedback.
But this short
article is really aimed at the 99% of my subscribers
who got involved in Internet Marketing to make money
and have had different degrees of success.
Listen
up! Today I am going to tell you how to create
Private Label Rights and/or Master Resale Rights
products that will generate income for you on a
daily basis. Oh, you've heard that before? Yeah, so
have I! But lets touch on the basics and then add a
simple twist that almost 100% of you are not using
and absolutely nobody is telling you about. And I
have not put this secret into an eBook that I am
going to sell you for 7 bucks. It's common sense
information that is free to use, or not use, to
greatly improve your bottom line.
First, if you
are serious about making
"serious money"
in Internet Marketing you need your own product! You
simply cannot generate a substantial amount of
income by just buying and selling products developed
by others. You can generate some money by going that
route but you are competing against hundreds, if not
thousands, of other marketers that are selling the
same products.
By developing your own products you
have something unique to sell and you are then in a
position to let others buy your product so they can
promote it to others.
But developing your own
product is really not that easy, no matter what the
gurus would like you to believe. But it can be done
with a reasonable amount of effort.
So where do
you start?
For the moment it will be easier to
understand the process if you targeted a "niche" for
your product. And avoid niches such as traffic
generation, list building, search engine
optimization, and other niches that are being
offered on a daily basis. Choose a niche that is
sure to have a following but has not been overly
exposed.
For example: You could choose a niche
about resorts. It could be about the best resorts in
the United States or another specific geographical
area. Do your research to find the best resorts and
add your own comments so that the reader knows that
you took the time to research and write knowledgably
about the subject.
I'm not going to get into
graphic design or packaging for your product.
Hopefully, you are already familiar enough with
these to complete the process yourself.
Next you
should decide whether or not you are going to offer
your product with Private Label Rights, Master
Resale Rights, or both. I suggest offering it both
ways but always try to design your offer so that you
remain in control of your product. By that I mean
that you may wish to only allow someone that has
purchased the product directly from you
the right to sell Private Label Rights and Master
Resale Rights and that their customers cannot sell
the Private Label Rights. You also should have a
period of time from introduction to a specific date
where customers cannot sell the Private Label
Rights. For instance: You introduce your product on
November 1st but your license forbids customers from
selling the Private Label Rights until November
15th. That gives you two weeks to sell without
actually competing against your own customers.
The
next thing you should so is to have some sort of
affiliate program in place so that your customers
can resell your product and generate affiliate
income. Many marketers prefer this method and as a
developer you will find that by offering this option
you will usually see 25-50% more sales. Until
recently we were using a 3rd party for our affiliate
program but they stopped operating recently. We now
use
Rapid Action Profits Software and I
recommend that you use RAP or another quality
software program to fulfill your affiliate needs.
Where do you sell your product?
This isn't
secret information. Offer the product to those on
your subscriber's list first. Next, contact other
marketers that are already established because they
are in the best position to promote your new product
to large numbers of potential buyers.
So what
is the secret information I was going to share with
you for free?
It is simply this, and it is a method that is very
effective but rarely used by even the best
marketers. Contact businesses that fall within the
niche of the product. Briefly describe your product
and allow them to sell or even give away (eBook
format only) to their subscribers. If you had
developed a niche product about resorts you should
be contacting:
Resorts
Travel Agencies
Chambers of Commerce
Be sure your eBook contains links to your web
site and email contact so that everyone receiving
the free eBook will be able to contact you. These
are all potentially new marketers and it greatly
expands the opportunity to sell more products.
I have used this method and it is effective so I
recommend making the effort.
So now you have a new
and very effective marketing tool and you didn't
have to pay a guru $7 or more for an overly worded
eBook to get secret information!
