The I’m InTouch remote access service is comprised of two components:
1) the I’m InTouch software that is installed onto the PC that you wish to be able to access
2) the I’m InTouch technology, managed by 01 Communique within a secure data center, that locates your computer connected to the Internet, regardless of whether its IP address is changing or static.
Just load I’m InTouch onto the computer you want to be able to access. The installation takes no more than 5 minutes and requires no prior networking knowledge with all existing firewall and security settings maintained. At the end of the installation process, you choose a personal Computer Name. This name is registered with the I’m InTouch Sign-Up Server so that you can login to your computer from anywhere in the world. Your computer must be turned on and connected to the Internet to reach it.
You can now be away from your computer and use any device connected to the Internet, wired or wireless , to access your distant computer. You do not need to install any additional software onto the device you are using, whether it’s your home PC, an Internet kiosk or wireless PDA. Simply login from the browser of your device, inputting your personal Computer Name and following user authentication login prompts. I’m InTouch’s location server finds your PC on the Internet and makes a secure and private connection to your computer. Any data you view is safe and secure using industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption, like that used for Internet banking.
