Development, developed Xjob after recognizing the need for an application to enable its enterprise-level client base to effectively manage its mission-critical data and batch processing.
A typical job for Xjob is to retrieve files from FTP servers (most UNIX versions, AS400, Windows NT ftp server, etc), secure HTTP connections, local directories and emails from POP or IMAP servers, process the files using a variety of services, and send the resulting files to a local disk or other servers via FTP, HTTP or Email. These are just some of the basic services used as building blocks for a job. In addition, users develop their own custom services, so the possibilities are endless.
