The Web Xselerator is a true WYSIWYG Web Development Environment. This new way of developing web applications allows developers to create rich data oriented web sites whose pages will run on any computer with Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla, and gives the richness of a client server database application. Now you can create a web page very much as you would create a form in Visual Basic version 6. You drag TextBoxes, Combo Boxes, Grids, Trees, and many other stock controls that you are used to seeing in a client server application, onto your web page using our graphical web page designer, and then attach those controls to elements in your database. Once your project has been assembled in the graphical designer, and you compile it. WebXselerator creates all the code necessary to bring your project to life.
While WebXselerator does not provide a debugger for your projects, it does include a pretty nice code editor, and file navigator, so you can customize the resulting code. It also works with the Java components on your computer to allow Java class compilation as well as Web or Application Server startup, and shutdown. It also has a button to run your startup web page.
